With over fifty years of experience we have the in house technology to meet specific requirements for any magnetic shielding application, including the selection of the correct alloy, geometric design of the shield and determination of the best method of fabrication to meet your requirements.

Most of our shielding is made from the alloy mu metal®, a very high permeability material which is extremely effective at screening low frequency magnetic fields.


Mu-Metal®, in common with most of the other alloys used for shielding requires a special high temperature heat treatment. Magnetic Shields has the full capabilities to carry out this procedure in house in order to guarantee the final magnetic properties of the shield.
