About MSL ISO Accreditation
At Magnetic Shields we firmly believe that production of our components and running of our manufacturing facility should not be detrimental to the environment.
In 2007 we were proud to attain the international environmental accreditation ISO 14001:2004
Gaining ISO 14001 has actively encouraged the entire company to consider our environmental impact in all aspects of both our business and personal lives. The company has a green policy when purchasing and actively analyses new and existing processes in order to minimise environmental impacts.
Carbon Footprint
As a company we recognise that we have a responsibility to reduce the size of our carbon footprint when and wherever possible.
Magnetic Shields has displayed its commitment to this responsibility with the introduction of a balanced phase power distribution unit, capable of saving up 10% on energy consumption and by the installation of a Vickers energy management system, which now controls the entire heating system within the company.
