Magnetic Shields to supply High Metering Accuracy cores

MAGNETIC SHIELDS is pleased to announce that with immediate effect, it has acquired the HMA toroidal core business from CARPENTER TECHNOLOGY (UK) Ltd Crawley in the United Kingdom.

We look forward to servicing CARPENTER TECHNOLOGY (UK) Ltd Crawley's existing customers in the manufacture and supply of HMA toroidal cores and actively seeking to expand the business with new customers.

Supply of HMA toroidal cores will begin in the last quarter of 2009 and we look forward to establishing good working relationships with both our existing and new clients.

MAGNETIC SHIELDS is now capable of supplying a complete range of high permeability strip wound cores in a range of alloys and sizes through our new HMA business, and our representation in the UK of MAGNETEC GMBH, who are one of the largest manufacturers of crystalline toroidal cores and nano-crystalline products in the world.

Our aim is to provide the same level of service and quality that our existing customers have enjoyed for many years and these skills will be applied to the entire core manufacturing process from winding and heat treatment to testing and guaranteeing each core on an individual basis.
