For many years Magnetic Shields has offered a range of deep drawn cans to provide shielding solutions for small components such as specialist transformers, current transformers and other discreet components.
We offer a standard range of round and square/rectangular cans. These cans are available with different heights and a variety of different lids, both internally fitting and externally fitting. All lids can be tailored to a customer's individual wiring requirements.
In addition to our standard range of mu-metal cans, Magnetic Shields also supplies a tooling service to provide individual customers with a shielding can to their specification.
Our tooling service is utilised by many customers and as an indication tools can normally be fabricated in six weeks with a typical cost is in the region of £3,500/ €4,200.
Cans can be manufactured in a variety of thicknesses and alloys depending on the exact shielding requirements.
