About the Role
The role requires assisting a close-knit administration team with all aspects of reception duties plus general administration work. To be considered for this role you will need to have excellent customer service skills, plus be comfortable working within a small team, have a good level of IT literacy, strong attention to detail, and an adaptable approach, helping colleagues as and when needed.
Roles & Responsibilities
General receptionist work and administrative support to our office, including, but not limited to:
- Answering, filtering and directing phone calls as appropriate
- Meeting and greeting visitors with a professional approach
- Ensuring the reception area is kept presentable at all times
- Supporting the company’s Executive Assistant with administration duties. Examples include travel booking and itineraries, appointment bookings, compiling reports and presentation, customer information, etc.
- Supporting the office administration team with general administrative duties
- Responsible for ordering office items
- Assisting in documentation reviews
- Managing the in-coming & out-going post
- Managing, scanning and filing of paperwork
- Updating MRP system with client and supplier details
- Any other reasonable duties as part of this role
Essential Skills
- Professional in approach – able to represent the Company in ‘front of house’ duties (telephone manner, dress code, approach, etc)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Well organised & self-motivated with an excellent eye for detail
- Able to multi task with a workload that can fluctuate throughout the day
- Excellent ability in Microsoft Office systems – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Desirable Skills
- Proficient use of ERP systems (previous experience of Progress Plus) would be beneficial
- A minimum of 5 x GCSE grades A-C including Maths and English, or equivalent
- Full, clean driving licence is preferred
